Bayou Park Wild Life Adventure!

This morning Keira and I were up bright and early ready to go on our safari! The park didn't open until 10am so after breakfast daddy made us a palate on the living room floor so we could watch Little Einsteins and rest before our big adventure..........

As soon as we entered the park our truck was surrounded by emu's with there long necks, beaks, and big eyes. It really freaked daddy out. Mommy and Jamye thought it was hilarious! Keira and I just sat back to enjoy the show......

It took me a minute to warm up to the animals......

Keira was ready with our bucket of food.....

I jumped in to help once I saw the deer was friendly!

I even bravely tried to feed him out of my hand.....

Oh Deer!

Monkeying around!

Going in for a closer look at the giraffes!

There was a petting zoo next door to the giraffes that housed pigs, goats and other small animals...

We stayed outside and fed them by lining up the food on the door. The goats didn't seem to mind and eagerly ate the food.....

It was time to board the little trolley for our safari. Megs was enjoying all the animals too!

She was such a good girl, especially considering the heat!

All aboard!

Daddy had the video camera in hand, mommy had Megs and Keira and I were too small to feed the larger animals on our own so Jamye was stuck with the bucket! Some of the animals were a little aggressive with the feedings and there were a couple of times Jamye had to literally pull the bucket out from under them!

"Pee Wee" the rhino was really big!

I think he was interested in what I was drinking!

There were lots of different animals from Africa, India and Asia that were really beautiful!

I was eager to see a Llama up close. Mommy reads me "Is Your Mamma A Llama" at home. It's a great book!

More giraffes.....

When I saw the ostrich coming in for the food, I ditched the bucket really fast!

Buffalo....

The camels swarmed us like flies! This was one of the times Jamye really had to pull the bucket away!!

It was really awesome!

Keira and I were in awww.....

We kept watching them as we drove away!

The zebras were beautiful! Some had brown stripes and others black...

Keira had been talking about the zebras since she woke up that morning. They also had a zonkey (zebra bred with a donkey)!
