Memorial Day Fun....

We decided to have a last minute family gathering for Memorial Day. We literally threw it all together in a couple of hours! Megs enjoyed sharing grilled corn with Aunt Jodi. I think it made her feel big to be able to eat it straight off the cob;)

Hunter, Lexi, Makenzie and I had a great time playing on the bouncer...

Happy Birthday To Me!!!!!

We started out my birthday with an early lunch at Casa Ole....my favorite! The staff sang to me and the manager brought me ice cream and let me keep the sombrero!

Then it was off to League Park for my party! We had a mad scientist who showed my friends and I all kinds of fun experiments......

We used a potato launcher to try and shoot a stuffed chicken out of a tree.....

We helped place mentos into diet coke containers. Why you may ask....

They explode!

It went really high!

Grandpa and Meghan watched everything from a safe distance!

My Hot Wheel themed party wouldn't have been complete without a few fast tracks to play with!

After the experiments were over and my tummy was full of cake and candy from the pinata, I decided to run over to the playground....

What a busy but fun day!

We didn't even have time to open my gifts at the park so I had to wait until the next morning. It was like Christmas in March and sister helped me unwrap some of the gifts too!

I received so many wonderful gifts from family and friends!

Our living room looked like a toy store!

I was excited to put together the tent Aunt Jodi, Uncle David and my cousins bought for me....

There was also an awesome space sleeping bag. Sister and I had so much fun having a camp out in my room!

Special Birthday Chapel!

After being sick all spring break and the beginning of this week, I finally felt well enough to go to school. Luckily I was well in time to enjoy my special birthday chapel. My teachers made a crown for me to wear!

When the Bible lesson was over Mrs. Karen called for me to come to the front of the chapel for my special birthday blessing and song. What a great day!

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo 2011

We were all excited about our trip to the rodeo. I have been asking to ride light rail for months!

I thought it was worth the wait. I had a blast!

We met up with my cousins inside and stopped first to learn all about how bees make honey....

I planted some sunflower seeds....
