Long Night.......Long Day!

We had a long night........My tummy was hurting from the Amoxicillin I am taking for my ear infection so I woke up every 30 minutes until about 2am. Mommy and I were both exhausted, but my tummy ache eventually went away and we were able to sleep in a little. After we spent the morning recovering from our long night, we went to the mall to do a little shopping! Mommy bought me my first Christmas stocking and one for her and daddy too. My buddy Sam was there with his mom Meghan. We were the cutest babies in the whole mall!!!

We are all shopped out!!

Today we resumed our daily walks. We haven't taken one since coming back from our Thanksgiving holiday. We ran into Meghan and Sam while we were out and they came back to our apartment to play. Oliver was there too! He kept licking my toes and I thought it was funny! He is my favorite dog!

Mrs.Meghan's Birthday.....

Today is Mrs. Meghan's Birthday!

This morning we sent her a home made birthday wish!

We all had lunch at a little restaurant down the road called Blanc Cafe. We had a great time!

Sam and I shared our toys at the table and were so good while our moms enjoyed their lunch!

We are so blessed to have Meghan and Sam as our friends!

Not Again.......

Mommy took me to see Dr. Buck today. My allergies started to act up the minute we got off of the plane in Houston for the Thanksgiving holiday. I started sneezing and had a runny nose that mommy had to suction every morning for a week. Just to be on the safe side mommy called my doctor as soon as we returned to San Antonio to schedule a check-up. You see, the last time I had a run in with allergies I ended up with a bilateral ear infection and had to be on antibiotics for over a week. Mommy thought something might be up because yesterday was a very fussy day for me and I started to tug at my ears a little. Last night I didn't sleep well and was waking up frequently.

Not Again!!! Dr.Buck looked in my ears and they are both infected! This time they are not as bad as before, but it still hurt me for her to mess with them and I screamed through the entire examination. She wrote me a prescription for Augmentin and Zyrtec. She told mommy to feed me yogurt while I am taking my antibiotics to help my tummy.

Mommy nursed me in the office and I was asleep before Dr.Buck even left the room......What a day!

My New Crib......

Mommy and Daddy brought my crib home from Houston and put it together for me last night. I wasn't sure what to think about it at first, especially when I heard I was supposed to sleep in it. Mommy says she will start by putting me here for naps and then see if I will sleep in my crib at night. She is going to hang curtains in my room this week to make it a little darker during the day so I will nap more easily. I love all of the bright colors and letters!

I Am Thankful For.....

This is my First Thanksgiving and I have so many things that I am thankful for........

My mommy and daddy who love me the most!

My Grandma who spoils me rotten! My Aunt Jodi and cousins Makenzie, Lexi, and Hunter who share their toys and play with me.

My grandpa who helps keep me warm early in the morning by the fire.....

Great Grandpa, daddy, Uncle Patrick, my cousin Andrew and Grandpa. We all got together at Uncle Patrick and Aunt Monique's house for an early feast the day before Thanksgiving.

Lunch With My Dad......

Daddy finished seeing patients in clinic early today so mommy and I picked him up from work and went to eat lunch at CiCi's pizza.

Daddy had mommy dress me up in my Spurs outfit and boy did I get a lot of attention! Especially from the people daddy works with. We visited with them when we took daddy back to his office. Everyone passed me around like a little basketball.

Daddy took me into the game room to have some fun before we had to go. I was hesitant to ride the motorcycle at first, but soon was hanging on like a pro!

I love anything with a wheel.....I know how to steer and get so excited when daddy lets me drive!

Mommy put quarters in the Snoopy fire truck and let me ride. I didn't know what to think when I started moving back and forth, but I sure did like Snoopy.....He and I are buddies now!

Petra's Wedding.....

Mommy's cousin, Petra had her wedding today. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony at a golf club here in San Antonio. The weather was perfect and there was a bagpiper in his traditional Scottish attire playing as the guests arrived.

At the reception there was a dollar dance so mommy paid for me to dance with the bride. Although you wouldn't know it by the look on my face....I had a really fun time!

Busy Little Boy......

This morning mommy took me to the zoo. She was meeting a new friend named Susy and her two little boys Vance 2 1/2 years old and Jackson 9 months. Usually there aren't many people during the week when we visit the zoo, but since today is Friday there must be a lot of schools having field trips because we saw several big school buses and lots of children. Our first stop was to see the bears. We spotted this big grizzly lazily basking in the morning sun. One of the zoo keepers was standing in front of the bears with a little exhibit that included a bearskin so the children could feel the fur. Mommy wouldn't let me touch though....I am still too little!

I could use a manicure!

At home after a short nap I was ready to play in my room. I have a book that grandma sent me called "The Sheep Goes Baa". I love that book! It has a little button that you push every time you see "baa" in the story and it makes a real sheep sound.

After some light reading I was up on all fours rocking back and fourth......good exercise!

Later that afternoon we went for our usual walk around the apartment complex....Life is good!

Having Fun With Ezrie.....

This morning I discovered the bars on the dining room chairs. I like peering through them and playing peek- a- boo with mommy.

We went to Aunt Dian's house to play with Keira and Ezrie. When we got there they were both asleep so I played by myself for a while. I was having fun with all the different toys, especially the piano!

Ezrie finally woke up and we hung out together for a while on the couch. We were checking each other out and I was trying to take her pacifier, but mommy wouldn't let me.

Ezrie likes to use me for her pillow....I guess I am kind of fluffy!!

Shopping For Shoes.....

I started doing something new today. When I get excited I scrunch up my nose, smile, and breath in and out heavily as the picture below illustrates. Mommy thinks it's pretty funny.

I went to Stride Rite today to find out what my shoe size is. The lady at the store measured my foot and I am a 3 1/2. That metal thing was cold!

After we finished shopping, we went to see daddy at his work. One of daddy's colleagues carried me around the office to show me off to everyone while daddy gave mommy her flu shot. This is me in daddy's office. I had fun spinning around in his big chair.

Enjoying My Sunday With Mom and Dad.....

After enjoying our extra hour of sleep, mommy and daddy decided to go to the early service this morning. I was well rested so I didn't mind! I went with daddy to get his car washed and run a couple of errands after church, then went to the Alamo cafe for lunch. Usually we go to the one off of I-10, but we found one that was closer to our house. There was a small stream running through the restaurant which held my attention for a while. We sat by a window and I watched some little finches playing near the water.

Mommy and I went outside to see the rocks , trees, birds, and small waterfall while daddy paid the bill. We sat on a bench underneath a big shade tree and I watched as several older children played with a soccer ball in front of us.

Daddy and I were playing on the bed, but he decided to take a nap and I ended up trapped under his strong arm! That's alright, I didn't mind. I enjoy being close to my dad!

Tower of Toys....

I love Friday afternoons! Daddy gets to come home and spend some time with us before he has to go to the football game. Today he built me a tower of toys composed of my cups and various other things to knock over.

It's almost as tall as me!
