Muffins With Mom.....

My school hosted a "muffins with mom" morning. There were lots of different types of muffins to choose from, but of course I had to have a chocolate one!

I didn't really cooperate for my picture with mom. We asked one of the other moms to take our picture and when mom reviewed it later realized I was making a crazy face (rolling my eyes back in my head), but at least I smiled for this shot. I painted a flower pot for momma and made her a pretty picture!

Mom tried to take a picture of my friend Jath and his mom together, but Mrs. Misha insisted I be in the photo as well.....

I would not put down the juice box.....I guess all that chocolate made me really thirsty!

Family Day!

Today mommy and Meghan stayed around the house to clean while daddy and I went to a U of H football game. While we were gone Uncle David, Aunt Jodi and my cousins stopped by for a visit. Meghan had fun visiting with everyone.....

When daddy and I returned it was our turn to work. We picked weeds and watered the lawn. I took a break to ride my bike. I actually decided to pedal today! Normally I just shuffle around with my feet even though I can reach the pedals, but today I decided I wanted to ride like the big boy that I am!

Meghan just sat back taking it all in.....

Then she joined me on the new bench daddy put together for us in the back yard...

Daddy and Meghan enjoying some time together...

This is my I am trying to refrain from jumping off the bench like I know I am not supposed to do face!

Picking Strawberries....

My class had a field trip to Froberg Farm today to pick strawberries . We are learning about plants this month in school. I was very excited to get my own bucket and anxiously walked the fields in search of the perfect spot!

We were instructed to only pick the berries that were red and to leave the green ones alone. The further back in the field we walked the more ripe strawberries we found.

First pick!

I was careful to only pick the big, red, berries!

My friend Jath and his family already had a full bucket of berries. Jath and I ran up and down the row for a while and then it was back to the business of berry picking for me!

Mrs. Misha helped me spot the good ones that were hiding!

Rows and rows of strawberries!

Showing off!

Time to take my bucket to be weighed!

After buying our berries momma (that's what I call my mom now) took me through the rest of the market where we picked out fresh green beans, yellow squash, tomatoes and some local honey which is supposed to be good to take for allergies. What a great morning! We will definitely be back soon!!

Berry Sweet

I am berry sweet and berry cute but when it came time to pick strawberries today I was berry tired and slept the whole time!

2 Month Appointment!

This morning I saw Dr.Shinder for my two month check up. I am now 23 1/2 inches long and am in the 75% for length!

I weigh 10 lbs 2 oz !

I had my shot and only cried for a minute! I am still congested but Dr.Shinder thinks it is from reflux and should clear up in the next couple of months.

Getting Cozy....

Today was one of those days where mommy couldn't seem to get anything done. I have been wearing my big boy underwear for 2 days now without having any accidents. That being said I woke up with an attitude because I didn't sleep well (getting in bed late for the last two nights in a row has caught up with me) and I woke up with a bad stomach ache because there is still one thing I refuse to do in the potty and mommy will not put a diaper back on me. After a long and very frustrating morning, I decided I wanted to get "cozy" in mommy's bed where Meghan decided to join me.....

Special moments like these make the whole day worth while!

Aunt Glenda came to Houston to visit this weekend. We met her at Craker Barrel for a late breakfast. This was the first time she has seen me since I was born!

It was a sweet introduction!

Silly Faces!

Mommy caught me making silly faces at Gramary today!

Slumber Party!

Aunt Angela and Madalyn spent the night since Uncle James was out of town. It was fun waking up and having Madalyn to play with. Even though she is a couple of years younger than me, we always have a good time together!

Madalyn is fascinated with baby Meghan. She points and says "baby" and likes to rub her head, give sweet gentle pats and in this case, see her belly button (which looks like a cinnamon roll)!

Madalyn cuddled up with daddy (aka Uncle Steven) on the couch...

Easter Weekend......

Saturday we celebrated Easter with mommy's family at Grandma's house. My cousin Makenzie and sister Meghan had on the same Easter dress . It was completely coincidental but made for a great picture!

Meghan spends most of her day attached to mommy. She likes to be in the Bjorn so whether awake or asleep ,she is always a part of the action!

Grandma has special trees in her yard that she labels for each of her grandchildren to be able to hunt Easter eggs around without competing with each other. We find the tree that has a sign with our name on it and begin collecting our eggs. When we have found all our eggs grandma has a separate hunt that we all participate in together. It's fun, but much harder to find the eggs.

We also have a egg hunt for the adults. Grandma hides money instead of candy in the eggs so everyone is very motivated to find them. I helped mommy this year since it was hard for her to move quickly carrying Meghan around. We spotted an egg hidden overhead on a tree branch. Aunt Jodi lifted me up to get it and I found a dollar inside. Aunt Angela found the big prize.....an egg filled with $20.

After hunting eggs outside I enjoyed a piece of ice cream cake!

I was excited about going to bed Saturday night because I knew the Easter bunny would be paying me a visit. He did not disappoint! I woke up Sunday morning and found my basket waiting for me on the kitchen island...

There were big eggs inside filled with everything from candy to new Hot Wheels...

I really enjoyed playing with the long, blue snake that was hiding in grass...

I shared my Kit Kats with mommy cause I know she really likes them!

Sunday afternoon we had planned on going to Aunt Elaine's to see Gramary and her side of the family. Aunt Elaine was going to have an Easter egg hunt as well and mommy had prepared a dozen eggs filled with M&M's to hide. Long story short, we ended up missing the celebration and so daddy hid the eggs in our backyard. It was funny opening up 12 eggs all with the exact same thing inside, but I love M&M's so I didn't mind. It was even funnier trying to pick them all up at once....

Somehow I managed!

Dying Easter Eggs.....

Mommy bought a fun Easter egg coloring kit for us to try. I was very excited! This was my first try at dying eggs!!

Green first.....

Then blue, yellow, red and orange....

The kit came with stickers to create silly faces. I thought this one was funny!

I really focused on creating faces for my colorful eggs....

I think I came up with some great combinations!!
