Potty Training......

Recently I started letting mommy know when I need to go "pee-pee" and "pooh-pooh". Daddy decided to go ahead and buy me a potty. Mommy sits me on it when I wake up and today I peed in my potty for the first time!

Farewell Dinner With Family......

Tonight we had dinner with Aunt Dian, Uncle Anthony and mommy's cousins. I have enjoyed getting to know everyone over the past year and will miss being able to drop in for visits or meet at the zoo......

Last Visit To Orsinger Park........

Today mommy and daddy took me to Orsinger Park to play one last time before we move back to Houston. Mommy and I have come here many times throughout the year, but because daddy worked a lot this was his first visit.

Mommy and I showed daddy our favorite things to do while playing at the park. I could go down the slide all day long.......

Even though mommy insists on helping me when I am sure I could do it on my own, I still feel like a big boy climbing the stairs.....

I love hanging out in this little spot, especially when the playground is crowded. I come here to rest and observe the other children.....

There is always an opportunity to learn something. Mommy and I have fun naming things on the discovery board.....

Daddy joined in on the fun:) He can swing me really high....

Garner State Park -- August 14, 2008

This was my second trip to Garner State Park. I didn't remember the first trip much, because I was only 5 months old, but this time it was much more fun because I am a big boy and I can do a lot more!

Playing At Chuck- E- Cheese.......

Me, mommy, Mrs. Sloan and grandma all went looking for apartments this morning. When it was time for lunch we met up with Aunt Jodi, Makenzie, Lexi and Hunter at Chuck-E-Cheese.

This was my first time here and I was reluctant to get too close to the stage where Chuck and his buddies were singing.....

Hunter and I were strapped to this seat with a big screen in front of it for a virtual ride. The seat rocked and vibrated and we just weren't sure what to think about it......

Tropical Storm Eduard.......

On Monday we went shopping to stock up on groceries and necessary supplies to prepare for tropical storm Eduard. When we went to bed it looked like it was heading straight for us and since grandma and grandpa live so close to Galveston we were expecting the worst.

We woke up early in the morning to find that we had missed a direct hit, but were still getting some wind and rain. Grandma took me under the car port to watch the storm......

I like the rain......

We even ran out in it for a second to feel the big drops.....

Then we spent the rest of the day hanging out indoors. Grandma let me play with her phone.....

I had fun trying to figure it out......

Flying To Houston......

Daddy has to study for his board exam in Sports Medicine so mommy and I are flying to Houston for the week......

It has been a while since I have gotten on a plane because of all the ear infections I used to have. Mommy checked with my ENT and he thinks I should be fine since I am older now. I was excited to be at the airport and see all the big planes up close. It was a very short flight and I was pretty good. I enjoyed staring out the window at the clouds and when I started to squirm mommy read me some of my favorite books she brought from home......

I was happy to see Grandma and Grandpa. They took us to eat at Chili's for lunch.....
