Wearing My PJ's To School..........

Today was wear your pajama's to school day. I was excited because daddy had just bought me a new pair of buzz light year pajamas and when I lift up my arms it looks like I have wings. I am still working on the flying thing! I could hardly wait to get to class and see what all my friends were wearing..........

Even my teachers had pajamas on today. Of course I was too busy playing to stop and pose for a picture with them. We had storytime, watched a Mercer Mayor movie and popped popcorn to eat ( my first time to have popcorn)! We did a "Going on a Bear Hunt" activity and song...What a busy, but FUN day!!!

My First Astros Game...........

One of daddy's friends from residency gave us tickets to attend the Astros game. Every year his old redidency program gets together to eat, drink and socialize at a game. I know daddy enjoyed catching up with old friends and collegues and I just enjoyed the experence of attending my first baseball game!

There was a room set up with a place to make our own hotdogs or nachos and mommy let me share a sprite with her which was a treat because I am not allowed to drink soda! Unfortunately I did not like the food. Rather than starve, daddy let me have a chocolate chip cookie. It was very yummy!

Once we found our seats I could hardly keep my eyes off the field. I couldn't believe how big it was! I danced to the music and marveled at the sights and sounds then after watching the game for a while proudly proclaimed " I love baseball......and I love Jesus!" Mommy thought it was funny!

Flashing my half hearted smile so mommy could take her picture and I could get back to watching the game......

Daddy and I love to sing "Take me out to the ballgame". I know all the words and sing it quite often. All that preparation and when it came around to the seventh inning stretch I didn't even sing with the crowd. I looked around in amazement like I couldn't believe everyone else knew the song too. Maybe next time I will join in. I can't wait to come back...Go Astros!

Lunch Was For The Birds!

After church we decided to try a new place for lunch. We had a fairly large group with us but I didn't mind the wait because baby Madalyn was there and we had fun watching the colorful fish swim around.....

I am getting lots of good practice for being a big brother. Madalyn is very compliant!

The waiter took us out on the patio to see the two large, white parrots. They were very loud and one of them would shake his head up and down like he was saying "yes"! I enjoyed lounging lazily on the patio furniture and soaking in the sun........

Monkeying Around At The Zoo.....

Mommy had her ultrasound appointment this morning in the medical center. Uncle David, Aunt Jodi and my cousins just so happened to be at the zoo today so we decided to drop by when we were finished. Mommy found and abandoned stroller so we all had some place to ride....

I hit the jackpot because Hunter had a ring pop and was willing to share....

Hunter and I watched the cougar carefully....

We had a little fun on the bear cub statue.....Grrrrr!

All the giraffes were out and eating today. There was a cute baby giraffe that was only a month old. Mommy and I love giraffes!

Before leaving the zoo we rode the train and stopped off at Herman park to roll down the big hill in front of Miller Outdoor Theatre. I did a semi-roll because I didn't want to get too dirty, but it was still a lot of fun!

A Little Fun In The Morning....

Hunter and I love to go outside first thing in the morning. There's nothing like a good swing to get the day started right. Of course as soon as mommy walked away Hunter was showing me a new way to sit on the swing set..... While mommy's away...

Lazy Day!

After breakfast I decided I wanted to do a little painting. Grandma bought me a porcelain fish with a set of paints, so mommy made me a place under the carport where I could get to work...

It was a beautifully breezy morning! Just perfect for painting outdoors.....

After a while I wanted to rest, so I gently eased myself into a lying position and declared.....

"I feel lazy"......

"Grandma's house is a lazy house" and with that I finishe my painting lying down on the job!

My First Day Of PeeWee School!

I was very excited for my first day of school. It was hard for mommy to snap many pictures because I was practically running to my classroom. I was kind enough to pose with my back pack and name tag for a second. Alright, I will see you later mom!

Mommy, Aunt Angela and baby Madalynn came to pick me up from school. The teacher told mommy I had to sit in time out a couple of times for playing rough. I also did not take a nap which could be the reason I was playing rough in the first place, but it's only the first day.
