Fun On The Slide............

Today we went to the park to play. Sam, Mrs. Meghan and Oliver met us there.

Mrs. Meghan is funny! She knows just what to do to make me laugh....

With a little help from mom I will glide down the slide....

Since mommy is with me we can go down the bigger slide .......

A Stroll At The Alamo...........

This morning I made sure to eat a good breakfast before church. I had a little oatmeal and some vanilla yogurt which is one of my favorites :) I like to slurp it right off the spoon and make a mess!

After my afternoon nap, we headed downtown to the Alamo. A couple of tourist passing by were nice enough to stop and take our picture.

Inside the Ripley's Believe It Or Not there was a huge mechanical T-Rex that moved his head, opened his mouth and roared. Mommy and daddy thought it would be fun to see my reaction when we got up close to it. As you can see, I held on to daddy for dear life but wasn't scared at all!

My New Car Seat...........

I am 10 months old today! Mommy and daddy decided it was time for me to get a new "big boy" car seat, so we went to Babies -R- Us and picked one out. Daddy installed it in the parking lot of the store so I didn't have to wait to ride in it.............Good-bye baby seat!

Later that day, we took a walk outside to enjoy the nice weather:) Daddy and I like to sit by the pool.

I am very observant and curious about my surroundings. I like to pick-up rocks and leaves although I'm not quite sure why I am not allowed to put them in my mouth.

How I Spent My Day.....

I am up by 6am every morning. I usually play for an hour or so and then am ready for a nap. Today was no exception....

Hey mom, it's about that time.....

It was a pretty gloomy day outside, but the weather is supposed to get worse tonight so mommy decided we should get our grocery shopping done this afternoon. I was ready to unload everything. I am a good helper!

My buddy Sam stopped by for a visit.....

Oliver loves to give kisses, but Mrs. Meghan is trying to teach him not to lick faces. I was listening very attentively as they had their discussion....

Daddy made it home from work as I was finishing up my bath. I was so excited to him that I practically jumped into his arms:)

I love to play with my Little Super Star toy! Every morning I crawl over and press all of the instruments to make music and watch myself in the mirror.....

Day At The Zoo With Daddy......

Today was daddy's first visit to the San Antonio Zoo. I was excited to show him around since I am a frequent visitor and know where all of the animals live!

I managed to loose a sock on the way into the zoo. I always pull or kick them off.

We were able to see Africa Live, which is a new exhibit that just opened. I was amazed at how close we could get to the hippo. He was under the water staring at me....WOW, he was big!

Peek-A-Boo

This morning, while mommy was getting dressed, I decided to play a little game of peek-a-boo with her............

Peek-A-Boo......Here I am!

Since I have had a little cold for the past week, mommy decided to take me to see Dr.Buck to make sure I didn't have another ear infection. I am a pro at sitting through the ear examination. I lay my head on mommy's chest and stay very quiet and still.

Dr.Buck says my ears look perfect:) Now I can focus on playing with her instruments....(mommy watched her clean them before I tried to put them in my mouth

My New Horse.....

Gramary, Papa, Great Grandpa , Uncle Patrick, Aunt Monique, my cousin Andrew and Aunt Andrea all came into town today from Houston for daddy's 30th birthday. They brought my new hobby horse with them. It was a Christmas present from Gramary and Papa.

I fit perfectly inside the bucket seat and happily rocked and bounced on my new horse. I wonder what we should name him.....

Me and Sam At The Park....

Today mommy and I met my buddy Sam and his mom Meghan at Orsinger Park. The weather was perfect and we definitely took advantage of the beautiful day!

We started out on the big boy swings. Our feet couldn't touch the ground, but we were able to swing a little higher....

Oliver watched us for a while until Mrs. Meghan tied him to the swing post and he ran around under our feet where he could lick our toes:)

My First Trip To The Park........

Mommy and Daddy have been working on getting me to sleep through the night in my own crib. I cried a lot the first night, but last night I slept for 6 hours without waking up! A new record for me. This morning I was up at 6am and playing very happily with my toys. After a few good naps I was ready for a change of scenery.

I wish I could go outside:(

Mommy couldn't stand how pitiful I appeared to be as I gazed out the window. She had to run a couple of errands and suggested we take a trip to the park on the way home. My mommy is full of surprises!

At the park there was a swing just my size. My feet could touch the ground! Of course, this made me very happy and I danced around excitedly.

Hey.....What's this soft stuff on the ground?

Hmm......I think I like sand:)

A New Place To Pull Up......

Today I discovered a new place to pull up. I made my way over to the big window in the living room behind the rocking chair and used the window seal to stand.

I can see outside!

Mommy dressed me up in my Spurs outfit so daddy could take some pictures. I think it's getting a little tight!
