Gramary's Family Reunion...............

We had to drop Grandma and Grandpa off at Aunt Dian's house before heading to Kerville for Gramary's family reunion.

I hate saying "Goodbye"........

It took us a little over an hour to get to the reunion. It was a very nice drive. We went up and down some very big hills and across Turtle Creek which was fun. I started to explore the minute my feet hit the floor and found a set of bunk beds. Daddy put me on the top........

I figured out I could reach the ceiling.......

At first we stayed inside where it was nice and cool......

We visited and played.......

but eventually made our way outdoors.........

I found a dump truck to play with...........

And spent several minutes trying to catch a fly on the stool pictured above...........

Mommy actually let me play in the dirt........

I enjoyed every minute .........

Getting dirty is great!!!

Then I decided to try hula hooping with the older kids........

I would mimic what I saw.....

If only the hoop were a little smaller I would have been able to do it..........

Whose ready for a nap?

Once inside Gramary helped wipe me down with a cool washcloth while daddy gave me juice and crackers. I slid back and relaxed on Gramary's arm..........

Feeling refreshed..........

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Gramary and I enjoyed our time together this morning.

She even watched my favorite cartoons with me......

Later that afternoon daddy took me for a boys night out. We went to a picnic and San Antonio Missions baseball game......

It was my first time at a baseball game and we had a great time together. I started to dance when they sang "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". I hear I was pretty entertaining and quite the ladies man......

Exploring Academy.....

Grandpa wanted to go check out the new Academy that opened here recently. He had fun showing me the big stuffed fish for sale in the store......

At first I wasn't sure if I liked them....

but it didn't take long for me to warm up to them......

At Academy there was an area set up with a tent and chairs just like a real camp site....

Grandma and I decided to hang out for a while......

Moving right along we found a cozy swing and were just a swingin......

Waiting For Grandma and Grandpa......

Today grandma and grandpa are flying in from Houston to visit us.

I woke up a little earlier than usual. Probably because I was so excited. I watched a couple of cartoons to help pass the time......

How much longer?

Grandma and Grandpa's plane was delayed a couple of times so they got in a little later than expected. They were both tired, but still had plenty of energy to play.....

Mommy let me stay up late because Aunt Dian, Uncle Anthony and Jonathan came over to visit.

Making Up For Lost Playtime........

I am feeling like myself again:) Mommy and daddy took me to Methodist Children's Hospital yesterday to have more blood work done. I had a pretty rough day, but Dr. Parsi called and let us know that the test was negative for Mono. She thinks I just had a bad virus. Since I have been stuck in the house most of the week we decided to go to the park to feed the ducks.

It was a very hot afternoon so we stayed in the shade......

Daddy found a mommy duck guarding her ducklings and we threw her some bread to eat.....

When we came home daddy filled up my pool to let me cool off a bit.........

I had fun climbing in and out ........

I really liked it when mommy poured water on me........

The Adventures of Mono Boy.......

Dr. Parsi called daddy last night to give him the results of my blood work. Looks like I might have Mononucleosis. Dr. Parsi wants to do some more blood work on Friday......

I am still very tired. I lay around most of the day, but at least I have been fever free for 24 hours now...........

Me and my blankie.....I mean "cape":)

Day At The Doctors

Mommy took me to see Dr.Parsi this morning. I am still not feeling well and having to wait 2 hours to see the doctor didn't help things. After a very thorough examination we were sent to the lab for some blood work.

Luckily, they just needed a small sample and were able to prick my finger to get it.

I still screamed:( Whenever I would notice my band aid I held up my finger and said "Bo Bo"

This is the longest I have gone without running a fever. I haven't had once since early this morning, so maybe things will start looking up......

Fussy Father's Day.....

Luckily I gave daddy his Father's Day present early Friday afternoon because when I woke up from my nap I had a fever of 102.6. I was up all through the night and continued to run a fever Saturday. I just wanted to lay around and sleep.

Today I continued to feel lousy with my fever and was a very fussy boy. Daddy started me on an antibiotic and mommy is going to take me to the doctor tomorrow. This was the only picture mommy managed to snap of me today. I just wasn't in the mood to be photographed:(

Sam also had a fun remote controlled car......

We even practiced our ABC's......

A High Flyin Time.......

I am getting spoiled being at grandma's house. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is head for the front door. Grandma always takes me outside to swing, play and watch the birds.

This morning daddy was home and he took me out to the swing...........

My cousins came over for a family slumber party and Hunter and I had a great time running around in the grass.......

Uncle James brought his toy helicopter to fly.......

Up, up and away it went.......

Lexi and Makenzie took turns flying it.......

I kept playing......

but eventually settled on grandma's lap to watch........

The helicopter flew very high and fast. It didn't take long before it had everyone's attention......

Grandma took me for a ride on the tricycle since my legs are too short to reach the peddles on my own.......

I sat in a lawn chair just my size. Mommy's grandma had made it for her when she was little.
