Megs loves staring at her big brother Matthew.....

Megs loves to grab his face and coo at him sweetly. One of Matt's new games is to do whatever he can to make Meghan laugh. Some of my favorite mommy moments are just watching them together!

Yummy, Yummy To My Tummy!

Today was Megs first time to try some rice cereal. She was really excited and after she had her first bite she was reaching for the spoon .....

My favorite part was watching her smack her lips , stick out her tongue and grunt for more....

Our girl is growing up fast!!

Matt's First Movie.....

I woke up excited about my movie day with mommy and daddy. I wore my buzz pajamas, wings and gloves around the house until it was time to get ready to go.....

At the theater, daddy stacked up two booster seats on my chair so I would be tall enough to enjoy the movie and mommy bought us all some popcorn to share......

Once the previews were over all the lights in the theater went out and it was dark!

Time for the movie to begin....

Popcorn, juice and Toy Story 3. What could be better than this?

Well, after 10 days without a dirty diaper our pediatrician had mommy try a little apple juice to help Megs out a bit. We thought she would gulp it down like nobody's business but instead she just made funny faces and chewed on the nipple. Occasionally she would even gag a bit. Somehow mommy managed to get about an ounce in her over a two day period and it seemed to do the trick. Luckily for Megs, it will be a few more months before we try introducing juice again.

Geekee......

Matthew has a new best friend! It is a yellow lab he has named Geekee. I do not know why or how he chose the name, but despite our best efforts to offer other suggestions (the name on the tag is Rufus) he is sticking with Geekee. My Aunt Susie sent the little dog when Matthew was just a baby and I have put it in the crib with him ever since he was small. He never really cared that it was there until the last couple of weeks. Now Geekee has to go everywhere with us. Of course he still sleeps with Matt, but now he eats meals with us, plays and has to ride in the truck with us no matter what we are doing! The other day he had a meltdown in the driveway because we could not locate Geekee in the house and I had to be somewhere and was running late. Steven and I searched the house top to bottom before finally telling Matt we would see Geekee later. He screamed and cried " We can't leave him behind mom". Finally after a second sweep of the house Steven located Geekee stuffed inside of Matthews rocket. Apparently he was taking a trip to the moon and Matthew forgot to bring him back out. Sometimes I get so annoyed by these attachments (Still has blankie that has to be with us as well). Mainly because they slow me down when I am trying to hurry out the door. It becomes two more things I have to locate before we can leave . We only have one of each item so if they are misplaced or heaven forbid, lost Matthew has an emotional breakdown!

That being said....It is really sweet!

I realize this time will go by so quickly and that this is just a little phase he is going through now. He is so precious walking around the house with blankie on one shoulder and Geekee in the other hand. I know I will miss these days when he gets bigger!

Little Toes......

We spent the day playing at Aunt Jodi's house where all the girls unanimously decided Meg should have her toenails painted for summer. Mommy chose a bright yellow for summer....

Megs was her normal, cheery self and stood very still while Aunt Jodi applied a thin layer of polish to her little toe nails.....

Aren't they pretty? Megs enjoyed them as well. She is finding her toes and playing with them a lot lately so the bright yellow really made her want to get them!

All Smiles For Bath Time.....

Meghan LOVES taking baths! It may be that she likes the warm water or mommy's silly bath songs but whatever the reason, she is always smiling!!

Fun In The Sun.....

Because it has been so hot, mommy bought me a new pool for the back yard. We had the perfect shady spot in between the patio and house!

Meg put her feet in the water a little, but mainly had fun watching me play...

Space Center Houston......

Mommy and daddy bought season passes to Space Center Houston today. This was my first time to go. I was super excited because I love anything that has to do with space!

The playground was massive! I had lots of fun in the ball pit. I especially enjoyed pushing the red button that made the balls shoot up out of a cylinder in the center....

I made music with daddy by covering up the holes that had water coming out of them...

Trying on an astronaut helmet. I had better get used to wearing one since I plan on making a trip to the moon one day!

My first IMAX! It was a movie about becoming an astronaut!

Daddy was preparing Megs just in case the movie was loud, which luckily it was not!

Someone Has A Bad Case Of The Giggles.......

Meghan thinks I am hilarious! This started sometime in the last couple of weeks where she will just get the giggles over something I do or say. Mommy has a good video of the first time it happened but Meg and I had just gotten out of the bath tub and were not dressed yet so we couldn't post that one. Today I was just being silly on the couch and once again, Megs caught a bad case of the giggles....It's contagious!!

Meghan Is 4 Months Old Today!

Meghan is officially 4 months old! Mommy took her for a check up this morning.....

She had a little tummy time on the exam table....

Megs weighed in at 12lbs 10oz and is now 24 1/4 inches long! She has a light case of eczema on her little cheeks but that should finish clearing up soon. We have certainly enjoyed Dr.Shinder! She has been the best pediatrician, but unfortunately for us today was our last visit with her. She is moving back to New York and will be greatly missed!

My First Trip To The Natural Science Museum........

Aunt Monique organized a field trip for everyone at the natural science museum today. It was my first time to go and I was very excited! I even got a new cup with my name on it to carry around my neck especially for today....

We parked in front of the Japanese Gardens and I had to walk inside to check out some of the beautiful flowers....

Meghan hung out in her stroller for a little while but it wasn't long before she wanted to get out too.....

Meeting Buzz and Woody......

Mommy and daddy took me to Chick-fil-a tonight to meet Buzz and Woody. I wore my Buzz pajama top and got an octopus painted on my arm....

Cool!

I greeted Buzz by saying "You are a toy"......That is what Woody says to him in the first movie. Daddy thought it was funny, but not sure if Buzz did!
