If You Give A Pig A Pancake......

Aunt Monique called early this morning to see if we wanted to go to the University of Houston where their drama department was performing If You Give A Pig A Pancake and other stories. I had not read the book, but Andrew brought his copy along and mommy read through it before the play began......

Andrew and I patiently waited for the show to begin. Of course, we had plenty of people to distract us. We were surrounded by school children who were quite noisy which made us both feel right at home:)

Mommy sat on the end of the isle. I found her lap to be the best seat in the house!

We made it through 3 of the 5 stories before starting to get restless. We tried watching the rest of the show from the back of the auditorium, but somehow I managed to hit my lip on the back of a chair. There was a little blood and someone made an ice pack for me. I have had bad luck with my lips lately! Once I calmed down we took a little walk on campus to find the statues of the cougars. I took a picture here when I was just a couple of months old so mommy wanted to get another one. I wouldn't sit still long enough for a really good shot. Andrew and I were having too much fun running around....

It was a beautiful afternoon ........

I enjoyed watching some students playing football in the grass and getting close enough to the water to feel the cool breeze........

A Lesson In Waiting.........

A couple of days ago the air conditioner stopped working in daddy's truck. Mommy and I headed to the Chevy dealership early this morning to get it fixed (luckily it is still under warranty) Mommy was worried it would take a long time and didn't know how I would handle being stuck in a waiting area. Luckily, they had a separate waiting area for children that included a couple of activity tables and there was also a very large fish tank.

I waited very patiently since I was distracted, but the people at the dealership were very nice and able to fix the problem in a little over an hour.

After a good morning nap and a long play time at the park, mommy took me to the store for some fruit popsicles. I helped her pick them out!

I had to wait to eat one until we got home. Even though I wanted one really badly, I didn't fuss or complain. I simply talked about my popsicles the whole way home and stripped down to my diaper to eat one on the balcony. They were definitely worth the wait!

Helping Aunt Jodi Move.......

This morning we went to Aunt Jodi's house to help clean and pack a few things up since they will be moving to Alaska in a week:( While mommy swept the garage, I worked on cleaning out the flower bed......

Hunter and I had fun racing back and forth in the empty dining room......

While everyone else was cleaning, I took a break to watch a little television on the floor of the game room.....

Before we left for lunch, Aunt Jodi gave me a spiderman pull-up to try......

I felt like a big boy wearing the pull-up. After all I did use the big boy potty 3 times yesterday!

Thanks Grammy.........

My cousins Grammy gave me this fun Little Tykes slide today.....

I love climbing up and sliding down. It is my favorite spot to watch cartoons and there is even a space underneath where I can hide......

Thanks Grammy!!

Party Boy.........

This morning we went to Incredible Pizza to celebrate Hunter's 2nd birthday. He doesn't actually turn 2 until March 7th, but is moving to Alaska before then.............

Daddy let me drive around.....

I practiced being a pilot.....

Grandma helped me ride the horse.....

We all took turns playing skee ball. I had played with mommy before, but decided to put my own spin on the game. I liked getting under the cage and dropping the ball where I wanted it to go....I think I heard someone call it "Cheating"!

Hunter and I played the Jumpin Jackpot....What a joke! We only won 6 tickets....

I can spot a train from a mile away. This one was churning stuffing to let you create your own animal......A Build-A-Bear knock off......

I wasn't tall enough to get in the race cars, but we watched as Daddy, Lexi, Aunt Jodi and Makenzie sped around the track........

Grandpa and I watched as everyone prepared for glow in the dark bowling.......

I preferred walking directly to the pins and dropping my ball. Why wait for it to roll all the way down the lane?

Daddy and I raced a motorcycle....

Mommy let me ride the merry-go-round......

over and over again......

After going home for a little nap, we headed to Gramary's birthday dinner at Casa Ole....

Me, Gramary, Jonathan and Andrew....

Paw Paw held Jonathan and I so we could watch the people going up and down the escalator....

After dinner we played for a while before saying our good-byes. What a long day! This party boy is pooped....Goodnight!

OUCH!

I fell in the nursery this morning while mommy was in her MOPS meeting and busted my lip open. OUCH! I had stopped crying by the time mommy saw me. The ice pack the ladies in nursery made for me really helped!

Happy Birthday Madalynn Grace.......

Aunt Angela texted us around 6:30am to let us know she was in labor and going to the hospital. By around 8:30 she was in a room and being examined. She was already dilated to 7 and ready for her epidural. Mommy and I headed out to see her hoping we would make it in time. We were greeted by grandma who had bought Hunter, Gavin and I motorcycles from the gift shop to keep us occupied......

We went to see the fish in the waiting area and eat some snacks.......

Around noon mommy headed back into the room for the delivery. Aunt Jodi and Mrs.Sara took us to the 10th floor where they had a playground.....

At 12:47 pm Madalynn Grace Bowman arrived!

She weighed in at 7lb 5oz and was 20 inches long.........

Mommy brought me back to the room to meet my new cousin......

Happy Birthday Madalynn!

What A Sweet Day......

We met Aunt Jodi, Makenzie, Lexi, and Hunter at Chick-fil-A for lunch today......

After I finished eating my meal, mommy let me trade my toy for an ice cream cone......

It was so good I decided to share.......

Then we played for a while. Hunter and I enjoyed pushing the buttons on the zoo board to hear all the animal noises.......

After a little nap I had a lolly-pop. I used my potty like a big boy and asked for the lolly-pop instead of a sticker....

I ate it on the patio. Later on mommy and I had a picnic outside for dinner.....

Daddy gave me a bath and read my bed time stories....
