PaPaw's Party......

Today we went to PaPaw's house for a bar-b-que to celebrate his 74th birthday. He has a big yard and I had fun playing in it.......

My cousin Andrew and I took turns pushing each other around on this blue truck.......

Then I took a break for a while in the tire swing.......

We had fun stomping around in the leaves and listening to them "crunch" under our feet.......

My favorite part of the day was playing in the dirt with motorcycles and trucks.....

That is until we took a family ride on the 4-wheeler that Uncle Jack brought over. Mommy held me tightly while daddy drove us around the yard........

My First Haircut.........

After dinner mommy and daddy brought me to Cool Cuts for Kids for my very first hair cut......

I got to pick out a movie (Cars) and sit in a fire engine......

And so it begins.....

good-bye curls.....

I wasn't sure about what was happening and by the look on mommy's face, she wasn't either.....

After a while I didn't care what was going on around me.....

I just wanted to watch Lightning McQueen race......

Mommy and daddy said I was a good boy......

The lady cutting my hair (Amy) was very fast.....

and I did a good job of sitting still.....

The only two things I didn't like were having my bangs trimmed and cleaning up my hairline with the electric razor.....

I kept wanting to look in the direction of the buzzing, but daddy helped hold my head still.......

One Of My Favorite Pasttimes......

One of my favorite pastimes is playing at the park that is down the road from our house. In fact, today marks the third time we have been here this week. We like to come and feed the geese and have discovered the squirrels love to eat red grapes. Every time I sit at the picnic table to have my snack (Which is usually red grapes) the squirrels will come right up to us and beg for one. It is fun to watch them eat the grapes. They quickly peel off all the skin with their teeth and just eat the inside. Today all I wanted to do was swing! Mommy pushed me for an hour and finally had to convince me to give someone else a turn....

Luckily we remembered to bring my sand toys today.....

I enjoyed playing with my bulldozer and dump truck....

I even made noises as if I were really driving them....

Then I went down the tunnel slide a few times before we went home.......

My First Time To Sleep With A Pillow......

This afternoon I decided to claim daddy's pillow for nap time. Mommy has never let me sleep with a pillow before but daddy's is a very thin feather pillow. Besides, I miss daddy during the day and like to have things that smell like him close by........

Mommy even found a pottery barn pillow case tucked away in one of my drawers. It was soft like my sheets and the perfect fit for my pillow.........

Sleeping with a pillow is very comfortable! I should have done this sooner:)

My Day At The Houston Zoo.......

It was a beautiful day for a trip to the zoo! We haven't been since moving back to Houston.....

I wanted to ride the carousel first. Mommy showed me all the different animals I could choose to sit on, but today my favorite was the goose....

I was very exited to be spending the day with Glory and Mrs. Angela......

We stopped by to see the monkeys first and did a little monkeying around of our own........

Mommy let me loose to watch the elephants.....

One of them looked like he was trying to dance so I started swaying back and forth in an effort to mimic the movements. Glory watched me dance like an elephant.....

The giraffes were very tall.....

My favorite part of the zoo has always been the train! I get very excited waiting to hear the "all aboard" before we take off.....

Once the train is going I get very calm. I like to enjoy the scenery and take it all in.....

This was Glory's first time on the train!

After our ride was over, we headed back inside to visit more animals. Look mom, a zebra!

Mrs. Angela snapped this great shot of me watching the lions being lazy....

As we were leaving I watched the train drive past us and waved to the people who were on board....

Saying Goodbye To Uncle David......

Uncle David is leaving for Alaska this afternoon. We went to eat pizza at his house and see him before his big trip.....

Uncle James and Lexi took turns putting on some pink shades....

After lunch we all wondered into the back yard to play....

I enjoyed strutting my stuff.....

and rocking on Hunters stationary bicycle......

Daddy even joined in on the fun.....

After realizing I was the only boy on the bench, I tried to escape......

Hunter and I took a ride on the geese that were in the yard. It was a great afternoon, but I am really going to miss my Uncle David and look forward to visiting him soon in Alaska....

Happy Birthday Daddy.........

Daddy's office threw him a birthday luncheon today. They ordered in fajitas and had cake. Mommy and I joined in on the festivities.......

I enjoyed playing with the balloons that filled daddy's office.....

I really liked the green one. Despite all of the other colors on the ground I just had to have the green one that was taped to the door.....

Lunch was yummy....Especially the cake!!!

Daddy even had streamers hanging from his doorway. I had lots of fun walking through them....

I just didn't like it when daddy decided to put them on me......
