Soaking Up The Sun!

It turned out to be a very hot afternoon! We went to my cousins house to visit. Grandma brought the sprinkler out for us to cool off and have some fun........

It was a great opportunity to wash my car!

I thought Grandma was chasing me :)

After a while I decided to seek shelter from the sprinkler and the sun. I watched Lexi pretend to make soup out of water puddles and colored chalk......

I wanted to help...

After dipping her hand in Lexi's pretend soup ,Makenzie made hand prints on my belly........

Missing My Buddy Sam.......

When I woke up from my nap this morning, mommy realized that I had somehow hidden Sam's picture in my crib. When she came in to get me out I was pretending to be asleep again while hanging on to Sam. I finally opened my eyes and proceeded to recall the fun times Sam and I had together during his recent visit. I did not want to put the picture back on my dresser. I guess I am just really missing my buddy today!

These Boots Were Made For Walking.......

Saturday Uncle Ricky and Aunt Glenda came to town to visit. We were rained in for the day at Grandma's house. I had been eying Uncle Ricky's boots for a while and finally decided to try them on for size........

I only managed a few steps.....they were heavier than I thought!

Choo-Choo.........

Mommy had an appointment today in the medical center, so we parked at the zoo and rode the train around to the medical center stop where we walked the rest of the way (only a block). At the appointment I played at the train table in the doctors office and made a new friend. His name was Nate, but like all the new boys that I meet, I kept calling him Sam. We exchanged toys and played until mommy had to go back to a room.......

then we waited patiently for the train to come back around and pick us up.....

A Hunting We Will Go.......

We celebrated Easter Saturday at Grandma's house. I woke up bright and early....as usual! Grandma had a special crazy straw for me to drink my orange juice out of.......

After breakfast we all got dressed and headed to the air field by Uncle James house to watch the model plane show. Mommy and daddy had checked the forecast before packing our bags so we had been prepared for 80 degree weather but the cold front decided to move in early and we were stuck in the cold with our summer clothes on. Mommy brought me a blanket to bundle up in but poor daddy was freezing!

Even though we were cold, it was still fun watching the planes fly and do tricks.....

A nice lady at the show even gave me my own little plane......

After a long nap, my cousins arrived along with grammy who brought us all Easter bags. Instead of looking inside I tore mine open like a present.....

Inside my bag I found a Lightning McQueen car and eggs filled with money for my piggy bank at home.....

Thanks grammy!

Then grandma gave me an Easter basket.....

Daddy helped me look through the fun toys.....

Then it was time for our actual Easter egg hunt. Since this was the boys first time to hunt eggs, grandma made it easy. She divided the eggs up between Hunter, Gavin and I then gave us our own spots to hunt them in........

That was a great idea because I definitely took my time hunting. I cracked each egg open as I found it.......

It's actually kind of smart if you think about it. Who needs a basket full of eggs when you could just take the basket full of the prizes that were in the eggs......

After our hunt was over, I watched the adults hunt for their eggs. Grandma filled them with money so everyone was very motivated to find them......

Gavin's daddy brought a fun remote controlled car that went really fast......

...We watched it from the back of my daddy's truck...

Then grandma, me, Gavin and his mommy rested on the swing for a while. What a busy day!

My Good Friday!

My good Friday started with a dip in the pool. I love the beach-front entry because I can come and go as I please. Daddy is not too far away. He hangs out where it starts to get deep so I know not to go past where he is at........

Every once in a while I have to make a new set of foot prints. They dry very quickly in the heat of the sun!

After swimming we had burgers for lunch followed by a long nap. Then we headed to grandma's house. Since this will be the first time I hunt for eggs, everyone thought it would be a good idea to let me practice....

grandma showed me how it was done. I was shocked to see there were prizes inside the eggs!

Now I am ready for the real deal.....Let's hunt some eggs!

Just Another Day At The Park......

It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon so mommy and I headed to the park. The only problem was when the wind blew, it was a little chilly! I left my jacket in the truck and did not want to leave the swings to get it, so mommy took off her sweater and wrapped it around me to keep me warm....

After swinging for a while I returned to the truck for my jacket then headed to see the geese, ducks, doves and neutria (yuck!). I played on the playground then found a picnic table to eat my snack. It was a great day!

Grandad's Birthday!

We met grandad, gramary, Uncle Patrick, Aunt Monique, Jonathan and Andrew at Cheuy's for lunch today to celebrate Granddad's birthday. After wards we headed to Andrew's house to play on his new swing set. Granddad pushed me for a while.....

Then we sat on the swing together.....

Gramary climed up high with me....

and helped me spot mommy while looking through the telescope....

I tried the tire swing.....

Then played inside for a while...

Happy Birthday Granddad...I sure had a lot of fun celebrating your day!

Saturday With Grandma......

Daddy and grandpa had to work today so mommy, grandma and I decided to spend the day together. We played at home for a little bit then headed to Macaroni Grill for some lunch. This was my first visit here and I really loved being able to color on the tables, but so did grandma!

I had some yummy grilled chicken and ate all my broccoli like a big boy!

Our waiter asked if I would like a complementary bowl of ice cream and then mommy mentioned that I recently had a birthday. The waiter kindly sang to me in Italian as I slurped up my sunday. Then grandma tried to butter me up for a bite of my dessert! I didn't mind sharing....
