New Year's Eve.......

For New Year's Eve we had a big slumber party at grandma's house. My cousins came over and brought my Christmas presents because they were sick and didn't get to participate in our family celebration on Christmas day.......

They bought me a couple of toys and a lion bath towel......

While waiting for the fireworks display to begin, I thought I would put on Makenzie's helmet and ride her new bike.....

Uncle David helped me hold a sparkler......

It was a cold evening. I held on to grandma while Uncle James popped some of the bigger rockets. They made a really loud noise that scared me......

When the last one went off I happened to be holding a flashlight. When I jumped the flashlight busted my top lip......

Ouch! "No more fireworks" is what I said for the rest of the night.....

Christmas Morning........

Christmas morning I was lured out of my bedroom with a trail of presents that led to the living room. I sat down to carefully open each one.....

I was eager to open and play with my new trains......

and practice all the songs I have learned on my new microphone......

I had fun lining up all my trains.....

All of them had different faces. I recognized some of them from watching Thomas and Friends but there were a few new ones in the mix as well. Just when I thought Christmas morning couldn't possibly get any better I heard daddy calling me into the living room to see what Santa had left for me......

I raced around the corner to find my new choo-choo table! I could hardly believe my eyes!!

I immediately began studying every angle of my new present....

and trying out my trains on the track.....

It was more fun than I could have imagined.....

So much to explore.....

Thank you Santa.....

Daddy enjoyed playing with the table too. I couldn't pull my self away from it, and played for 2 hours straight.....

Then I decided to help mommy put up my new glow in the dark stars. It was a fun filled Christmas morning....

Christmas Day At Grandma and Grandpa's House

We arrived at grandma and grandpa's house just in time for lunch. Afterward we gathered in the living room to listen to grandpa read the story of baby Jesus from the Bible.....

I did a good job of quietly listening......

Then it was time to empty our stockings. Grandma helped me!

Next we took turns opening presents.....

Mommy placed a bow on my head. I didn't notice it at first but when everyone was laughing and talking about it I caught on and decided to get it off......

What could it be.....

A new car.....

More Thomas stuff......

Choo- Choo.....

Later we went outside to fly daddy's helicopter.....

My Day At The Downtown Aquarium.......

Today we met Aunt Monique, Uncle Patrick, Andrew, Jonathan and Gramary at the Aquarium in downtown Houston......

Santa gave me a stuffed shark when we walked through the doors.....

We watched Santa in the tank with all the fish.....

Then later sat in his lap to make sure he remembered what to bring on Christmas morning.....

Jonathan let me play with his stroller toys while we waited in line for our tickets......

I'm not afraid of the big bad shark......

However, the octopus is another story. I enjoyed watching him from a distance, but when mommy put me next to him for a picture I started to whine.....

I discovered a big chest of buried treasure.......

and climbed up high for a closer look at the fish.....

I found Dori!!!

Gramary tired to get me to touch the sting ray. I watched mommy feel one but did not want to stick my hands in the water....

I wouldn't get into the divers suite the whole way either. The closer the the mask I got the harder I started to cry......

We watched a white tiger that was lounging lazily behind the glass. I didn't want to pose with the statue though. Can you blame me? This thing looks scary.....

I enjoyed watching the farris wheel, but did not want to ride it.....

The merry go round is where I would rather be......

Andrew rode on the sea horse while I was on the seal. This was the first time I rode on something that actually went up and down as opposed to the ones that normally sit still......

Then we rode the train. It took us through a tunnel of sharks. They were all around us. The top of the train was clear so we could see the sharks as they swam over head......

A big great white surprised us as we were heading back to the train station.......

but I wasn't afraid because mommy held me close. We conclude our day with three train rides in a row! Time for a good long nap.....

Christmas With The Dennis Family......

This year we celebrated Christmas with daddy's family early since Uncle John and Aunt Andrea had to leave for Louisiana on Tuesday. We gathered at Aunt Monique and Uncle Patrick's where Andrew and I attempted to decorate cookies for Santa......

but I was more interested in playing with Andrew's toys.....

I especially loved his snow globe......

I enjoyed riding in Andrew's car......

Gramary bought me a Cars shirt that lights up. I had to put it on right away.....

Mommy helped me open my first gift.....

It was the Thomas Windmill I have been wanting.....

More Thomas stuff.....

Being silly.....

Daddy helped me open some things....

Papaw bought me a scooter.....

I had to try out Andrew's new Harley.....

After changing into my pajamas for the ride home, mommy let me play with Andrew's new toys a little longer.....

Thank you to all for my new toys......
