My friend Ben invited us to his grandmothers house for a party to watch the boat parade in Kemah. We arrived just in time to eat a little and walk down to the water with everyone else to see the boats decorated with lights making there way through the water. Bens mom was nice enough to buy all the children a light up toy to take with us.....
Ever since I heard about this party, I have been waiting to roast marshmallows and make smores. I have even been pretending to have camp outs with mommy in her closet where we practiced our technique in preparation for this very night.....
Did it live up to my expectations you ask.....
